Silver Luna was born from a simple belief: above all, community is everything.
In 2016, I set out to create the kind of space I longed to find. A place where curiosity could live alongside vulnerability, where conversation became ritual, and where people could reconnect with themselves by connecting more deeply with one another. What began as a creative practice became a place for tracing the threads that connect us to ourselves, to one another, and to the world around us.
Threads weave through culture, psychology, ecology, memory, and place, reminding us that no story exists in isolation. Over time, Silver Luna became less about finding answers and more about remembering: that belonging is cultivated, wonder is practiced, and transformation begins with attention.
For me, alchemy has never been about turning lead into gold, but the quiet work of tending what is fractured, uncovering what is true, and finding extraordinary meaning in ordinary moments. We shape our lives through the choices, relationships, and communities we cultivate.
May we never forget that we are both shaped by community and responsible for shaping it, and may we leave every place, every person, and every story more whole than we found it.

Pronounced: Gab-rie-elle Gut-air-rezAs a native Houstonian, I believe the strongest communities are built through partnership.
For nearly 16 years, I've worked across the nonprofit + public sectors bringing people, ideas, and resources together in service of something larger than any one organization could accomplish alone. Whether cultivating philanthropic investment, building cross-sector collaborations, leading organizational initiatives, or strengthening operations, I'm drawn to the work that happens between people, where trust is built, possibilities emerge, and lasting impact takes root.
My career has taken me across Houston’s healthcare, arts, environmental conservation, mental health, and civic engagement sectors. While the missions have differed, the work has remained consistent: building meaningful partnerships that transform shared purpose into measurable community impact in the city I call home. I believe sustainable change begins with relationships + grows through thoughtful strategy, authentic collaboration, and a willingness to imagine what's possible together.
I earned my bachelor's degree in Business Communications + Marketing from the University of Houston–Victoria, where I developed the foundation for a career grounded in strategic communication, organizational leadership. I value both timeless craftsmanship + emerging tech, embracing each as tools that help organizations tell their stories, strengthen their communities, and move their missions forward.
Beyond my professional work, I remain committed to civic engagement and collective action. I've organized workshops, facilitated community conversations, and supported grassroots and nonprofit initiatives because I believe our communities are shaped not only by the institutions we build, but by the ways we choose to show up for one another.
Outside of work, you'll usually find me with a camera in hand, creating art, birding (with binoculars!), arranging flowers, wandering estate sales + farmers markets, traveling whenever I can, and diving into Houston’s vibrant food scene.
I’m endlessly curious and inspired by people, art, history, and the quiet beauty of everyday moments. I believe creativity and community are deeply connected, and that some of the most meaningful work begins simply by noticing what others might overlook, slowing down enough to see what’s already there.
